Been a while since i did a proper dev update thing so….
Was working on this project for a while which i will not be explaining at all but to say that it’s a really odd game idea that i don’t think has ever been done by anyone ever before and the nature of it requires lots of text/menu stuff so i figured i’d use html/js stuff since theres lots of libraries for features i wanted but… well… html/js can’t really handle it (it’s just text/menus but it’s ALOT) and so umm… im sure it can be made in a proper gamedev platform but it will probably need a buttload of custom text handling and menu stuff given no gamedev platform is really made for text/menu games and im not really up for doing that sorta work right now, i was more hoping i could bang out a prototype. oh well.
[old stuff i might not have mentioned]
+switch shadows to be based on where a player is
+raging bull effect
+scissors now green instead of yellow
+added icons to some tiers (matches, meetings, restarea)
+added avatars to meetings
+made matches have ~intensitys~ where it goes all intense depending on which phase of the match you’re in (betting or card selection) and how close the bet puts you to the being in a losing position.
+reduced lag of matches causes by raging bull effect and the animated backgrounds in higher intensities.
+server finally has continuous mode working (pretty much) with variable goals, reactive realtime doubles sales, realtime grading of the server’s difficulty, a leaderboard and various method’s for server admins to tweak the settings.
and im now working on finally giving the avatar’s heads and have given @homph the task of starting implementation of the “Human Capital” slavery mechanics.
